I have an MA in philosophy from the University of Leeds. My dissertation was on Nick Bostrom's intriguing simulation argument and its links with more 'classical' philosophy. My areas of interest are pretty broad, but at the moment they lie mostly in philosophy of science and religion. You can read the kind of stuff I write on my academia.edu page. [view]

My undergraduate degree was in English language and linguistics, with a dissertation on an obscure and boring corner of Old English syntax. I still keep a side interest in this area, or at least the less obscure parts of it.
